World’s Most Expensive Cab Fare

If you’re traveling overseas, whether for business or pleasure, you’re probably going to end up taking a cab at some point. Fortunately, you can plan accordingly by checking out the list of the most expensive cab rides in the world.
The fares below reflect a metered, 3 kilometer (just under 2 miles) ride, not including any prices tacked on for airport-to-city rides. Of course, the taxi industry isn’t exactly forthcoming, and unscrupulous drivers may claim their meters broken in order to get a higher fare. Add to that the fact that some cities will charge higher fares at night and on weekends and, well, you get the drift.
