Top Ten Most Attractive Men I Wouldn't Kick Out Of Bed!

Freddie Ljungberg
Profession: Footballer
Date of Birth: 16th April 1977
Swedish Freddie Ljungberg played football in England for ten years, nine of which were at Arsenal FC. He currently plays for the Seattle Sounders in America. Not just a footballer, he also shot to fame as a result of his ranchy Calvin Klein underwear modelling, where his face was seen on billboards and adverts all around the world. He has two tattoos of panthers on his back, although for the CK campaigns he had them replicated (non-permanently) on his front. As a new boy at Arsenal he was teased for two things: his height and his hair. At 5ft9 (1.76m) he is short for a footballer ... and actually on the short side of average for a man generally, but I don’t think it has ever actually disadvantaged his game. His hair was a continued source of amusement in his earlier days since he had it dyed purple, then red and often had new and different styles and cuts. For the CK campaign though he had it shaved and stuck with that for the remainder.

Paul Bettany

Profession: Actor
Date of Birth: 27th May 1971
While perhaps not stereotypically attractive, there is something about Paul Bettany that I am very much attracted to. He seems the charming sort, who always knows the right thing to say to pay a compliment or win you over and clearly intelligent. Obviously this is based largely on roles that he has played, but I think that his natural character is reflected a lot in the parts he plays. He’s been married to the beautiful since 2003 and they have one child named Stellan. The majority of his films see him as a supporting character rather than the lead and I am always disappointed that he’s not given bigger parts. He has acted alongside Russell Crowe in ‘Master and Commander’ and ‘A Beautiful Mind,’ with Heath Ledger in ‘A Knight’s Tale’ (where he gets naked), alongside Kirsten Dunst in ‘Wimbledon,’ as well as starring in the controversial ‘Da Vinci Code.’

Clive Owen

Profession: Actor
Date of Birth: 3rd October 1962
Tall, dark, handsome and mysterious; all good words to describe Clive Owen. He has a deep sexy voice that sounds best when he is mocking and being derisive. It’s only been in the last few years that he has really made it big in Hollywood, but he has been acting for a long time. He tends to favour complex characters, often with a score to settle or a point to make. Given this, it is inevitable that he has played many similar roles, but I think he does them so well that it doesn’t really matter. He just wouldn’t be suited to the lead in a romcom or anything like that. While playing Romeo with a Theatre Company in 1988 he fell in love with his Juliette who he has been married to since 1995. He had been tipped to play James Bond in Casino Royale and while there was no truth in these rumours it helped his career no end. I think he would have made the perfect Bond!

Matt Damon

Profession: Actor
Date of Birth: 8th October 1970
Matt Damon has played a whole variety of different roles and whatever your favourite genre of film is you are bound to have seen him in something. Probably most famous for him is the Bourne Identity trilogy, where he plays the main character Jason Bourne. He has also starred in several films that he has co-written with various people, including ‘Good Will Hunting’ with Ben Affleck and ‘Gerry’ with Casey Affleck. My favourite of his films of his have to be the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy where he stars alongside Brad Pitt, George Clooney and many other major actors/actresses. Other excellent films of his include ‘The Talented Mr Ripley, and ‘The Departed’. In 2005 he was married to a bartender from Miami, Luciana Barroso and they have two children. He recently teamed up with Sarah Silverman when she made a video for her then fiancĂ© Jimmy Kimmel following an ongoing ‘joke’ he had with Matt Damon.

Wentworth Miller

Profession: Actor
Date of Birth: 2nd June 1972
Wentworth Miller is best known for his role as Michael Scofield in  where he gets himself thrown in prison in order to rescue and free his brother who is on death row having been framed for murder. This involves Michael getting the blueprint of the prison tattooed on his body along with important numbers and dates that he would need. I think it is the character of Michael as much as the actor that I find so attractive as I’ve seen his acting on other shows and it’s just not the same. He has one of those faces that suits the dark brooding look rather than beaming smiles. He’s a graduate from Princeton University with a degree in English Literature. He has had a few minor parts in some films and sitcoms (including lending his voice to a character in Family Guy) and twice appeared in Mariah Carey music videos.

Heath Ledger

Profession: Actor
Date of Birth: 4th April 1979
If it hadn’t been for his death in 2008 I imagine Heath Ledger would be a massive Hollywood star now, thanks to his incredible performance as The Joker in the 2008 Batman film ‘The Dark Knight.’ There were rumours that there was a curse on the film since shortly after filming Christian Bale was arrested and Morgan Freeman was involved in a serious car crash. I became a fan of his after seeing ’10 Things I Hate About You’ and ‘A Knight’s Tale’ which remain today two of my favourite films. I think he first became viewed as a serious actor after starring in the controversial ‘Brokeback Mountain’ with Jake Gyllenhaal. He dated co-star Michelle Williams after the film and they had a daughter, Matilda. When he died he was in the process of filming ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ which has now been taken over by Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell, so the lead will be played by four different people.

Amaury Nolasco

Profession: Actor
Date of Birth: 24th December 1970
Another of Prison Break’s finest! Amaury plays Fernando Sucre, Michael’s cellmate in the first season. He’s reliable and dependable and only landed himself in jail because he was trying to support his pregnant girlfriend by robbing a petrol station. Not that I support this, I’m just trying to emphasise the fact that he’s not really bad. He was basically headhunted by a commercial director and after that he appeared on ER and CSI, but he’s not really a bad guy in either of those episodes either. You can’t help but see his good side when he has such a cute smile and in real life he is another of the intelligent ones, having been to university in Puerto Rico to study Biology, where he intended to become a doctor. Next year he will be starring in ‘The Rum Diary’ alongside Johnny Depp, and has had small parts in ‘Transformers,’ ‘2 Fast 2 Furious,’ and ‘Max Payne.’

Jenson Button

Profession: Formula One Motor Racing Driver
Date of Birth: 19th January 1980
The one thing you can guarantee about racing drivers is that they are FIT! Racing is more physically demanding than any other sport so they have to be in peek physical condition. As the youngest of my top ten, I think Jenson is also the most down to earth. Unlike many of my other actor favourites, he doesn’t spend his time pretending to be someone else or have such a vast fan base, like the Hollywood stars, not to mention the fact that he lives in Monaco now so he doesn’t have to worry about being hounded by paparazzi. Although he does have sponsors and has appeared once or twice in adverts in the past. All he has to concentrate on is getting his car around the track as quickly as possible. His current girlfriend is Jessica Michibata, a Japanese underwear model, who can be seen in the Oasis Duckzilla adverts. The current Formula One season is his best so far, having lead right from the start and is now twenty one points clear at the top.

Jared Leto

Profession: Singer and Actor
Date of Birth: 26th December 1971
I think Jared Leto is one of the most attractive men ever. He has really powerful eyes and a beautiful face. He’s been a singer, model and an actor, I think he was most attractive with the dark hair and eyeliner in his band 30 Seconds to Mars (although I am a big fan of a man in eyeliner). I actually didn’t even know who he was when I first listened to their music. I recognised his name but didn’t know why. It was only afterwards that I looked him up and realised he’d been in so many films. I saw live a few years ago and almost got to meet Jared Leto afterwards because he was supposed to be doing a signing but apparently he was ill so he didn’t. I’ve seen a good few of his films now, ‘Fight Club,’ ‘Alexander’ and a few days ago I saw ‘Requiem for a Dream.’ I remember watching ‘My So-Called Life’ when I was home from school which starred Jared Leto and Claire Danes. I used to pretend to be ill so I could watch it!

Nelly

Profession: Rapper
Date of Birth: 2nd November 1974
I first got into Nelly’s music when I was about 15 or 16, going through a rapper phase, but I never really stopped liking him. I think there’s something really unique about his voice and it makes him easily distinguishable. He was born Cornell Haynes Jr in Texas but moved to St Louis when he was just three and as a teenager joined a rap group called the St Lunatics who frequently appear on his records. I think I own all of his albums although I don’t listen to them much except the odd song. My favourite song of his will always be the remix he did of the N Sync song ‘Girlfriend,’ I’ve known all the words since it first came out. He’s had a short acting career, appearing in the film ‘The Longest Yard’ and in a cameo role in a few episodes of CSI:NY. On top of this he also owns two clothing lines, ‘Vokal’ for men, and ‘Apple Bottoms’ for women.
