A Corvette with a brand-new LS9 engine; supercharged 6.2 liter V8 that puts out 620 horsepower and 6500 RPMs. The Corvette ZR1 will impress even those with no knowledge of how cars work with top speeds that soar over the 200mph mark and its ability to go from 0-60mph in 3.0 seconds. That surpasses even its predecessor, the Corvette Z06! Many of the body parts are also constructed from carbon fiber and it has an adjustable suspension.
The car was first announced at the 12 Hours of Sebring race in 2005 and hopefully, 2009 will be the year that it reaches the market and the public’s hands. However, it does come with the sticker price of $100,000 and the price doesn’t top out there. For those who are truly wealthy and passionate about their cars, there are also a number of premium interior options and chrome wheels available – all for an additional price, of course!
